High School student pushing for males to carry sanitary items for females.
A 15-year-old male high school student has become an internet sensation after putting a call-out for males to carry sanitary pads and tampons to assist the women in their lives.
Jose Garcia from Miami, who is a self-described feminist, said in an interview that he got the idea when he saw his school friends going through the ups and downs of menstruation.

“Asking for a pad or a tampon shouldn’t be such a taboo thing to boys,” he told the Daily Dot. “It’s a natural thing that happens to women.”
Jose now has over 14,000 Instagram followers and he said even though he doesn’t know of any of his school friends getting on board, he is told on social media that some boys have been doing so.
