Jodi Anasta Opens up About Her Marriage Breakdown – and Why She Will Keep Her Married Name

Jodi Anasta may have alot of changes happening in her life after her divorce, but one thing that won’t change is her last name.

“I don’t know why people think I ever changed it [back],” says Jodi, who was formerly known as Jodi Gordon.

“I want the same last name as my daughter. I have no problem. I am an Anasta. It’s a done deal.”

Jodi spoke to Sunday Style Magazine about her marriage breakdown with NRL star Braith Anasta and how they will juggle things with their two-year-old daughter, Aleeia.

She says she never thought about ending up a single mother, but “it’s funny, I don’t find it scary. This is my life and this is where I am meant to be right now”.

The Anasta Family in happier times

She and Braith are working together to be good parents to Aleeia, of whom they share custody. “We are still supportive, and we can do things as a family,” she says.

“Braith’s an amazing father, he really is. He has been a great support to me, too. I feel pretty lucky having that relationship at the moment, and especially with it being so early, I feel lucky to have that.”
