Married judges on New Zealand The X Factor verbally abuse contestant.

Married couple Natalia Kills and Willy Moon, who are judges on the New Zealand version of The X Factor have humiliated a contestant onstage by verbally abusing him during Sunday night’s live show.
The two judges compared contestant Joe Irvine to serial killer Norman Bates and told him his ‘look’ was disgusting.
Natalia accused him of copying her husband just because he wore a suit.
“I personally found it artistically atrocious. I’m embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence having to dignify you with my opinion,” she said.
Fellow judge Melanie Blatt, formerly from the band All Saints, jumped in to defend Joe as fourth judge Stan Walker looked on in shock.
“You know what Joe, I don’t think many people have believed in you. But I tell you right now, I believe in you,” Melanie said.
The two have since been fired from the show with Mediaworks issuing a statement this morning:
“While the judges on X Factor are expected to provide critiques of performances, we will not tolerate such destructive tirades from any of the judges,” Mr Weldon said. “We no longer have confidence that Kills and Moon are the right people to perform the role of The X Factor judges, and they will leave the show, effective immediately.”
