Matt Le Nevez to Play Peter Brock in new Production

Matt Le Nevez has been cast to play the late racing champion, Peter Brock, in new Network 10 telemovie, Brock.
Matt says he’s excited about sharing the motoring legend’s story and is conscious of the pressure of portraying a man his family loved and miss.
“Peter lived a very public life but he was always very respectful of his family,” Matt told The Sunday Telegraph. “I’m just hoping to share his story and his legacy to future generations of Australians. He was an icon not only of Australian motor racing, but of Australian sport.”

Ella Scott Lunch has been cast as Peter’s wife Beverley, while Natalie Bassingthwaighte will play Julie Bamford, his girlfriend before he died.
Peter died instantly in 2006 after the car he was racing at Gidgegannup, Western Australia, skidded and hit a tree. He was 61.
