New Season of The X Factor Debuts as James Blunt is Labelled the new Simon Cowell
The new season of The X Factor Australia kicked off on Sunday night and James Blunt has already been labelled the new Simon Cowell.
‘You may know me as the singer of rather effeminate songs with a high-pitched, squeaky voice but judges be ready, I’ll be cutthroat,’ he warned in one of his chats to camera.
James certainly tells it like he sees it when a bad singer takes to the stage, describing himself as: ‘Blunt by name, blunt by nature’.
Even his fellow judges seem to cop his criticisms and he also looks to fall out with Dannii Minogue.
‘You’ve got to play with team spirit,’ she told him as they argued over a contestant.
‘Do not lecture me on that. That is crap,’ he replied.
