Pete Evans’ Paleo cookbook for babies release date delayed after learning that it could do more harm than good.

Health experts have intervened on the release of My Kitchen Rules judge Pete Evans’ new cookbook, claiming the the recipes are potentially deadly.
The book, titled Bubba Yum Yum, The Paleo Way For New Mums, Babies And Toddlers, was meant to be released tomorrow.
One of the recipes causing concern is a a do-it-yourself baby broth, a substitute for commercial formula based on liver and bone broth.

The president of The Public Health Association of Australia was quoted as saying, “There is a very real possibility that a baby may die if this book goes ahead.”
A spokeswoman for the Federal Health Department last night said it had “great concerns” about the book.
“The department has been investigating this book and has great concerns about the inadequate nutrition value of some of the recipes,” she said.
Pete co-wrote the book with baby recipe blogger Charlotte Carr, wife of 2008 Australian Idol winner Wes, and naturopath Helen Padarin.
