Princess Mary Accompanies Daughter Isabella to her First Royal Engagement

At just eight-years-old, Princess Isabella of Denmark has made her first Royal engagement, accompanied by her mother Crown Princess Mary.

Over the weekend, Princesses Mary and Isabella headed to a Danish island to greet crowds, pick some strawberries and christen a ship that has been named after the young Princess.

Normally, Isabella would let her Mother or Father lead the way at engagements but this day was all about her, and she wowed the crowds just like her Mum!

Traditionally, boats are christened with a bottle of champagne, but for this special occasion, they opted for a bottle of the island’s famous blackcurrant juice.
