The news that Revenge was coming to an end was heartbreaking for fans of the show, while others thought it was about time.
If you want to know how it ended…keep reading!
Once Amanda finds out that Ben died, she decides to plead guilty to the murder of Victoria Grayson. Even thought she knew Victoria was alive, she knew that she would get transferred to a maximum security prison – one that Nolan would be able to sneak her out of. He raised a fake fire alarm which gave Amanda the chance to escape out of a roof air vent.
Amanda and Jack then head to the home of Mary Gaines to see if they can work out who killed Ben. Amanda then realises that Mary Gaines was Victoria’s mother – which means Victoria used her mothers corpse to fake her own death! In a flashback, we also find out that Victoria’s mother tricked her into sleeping with her father when she was a teenager which means that Patrick’s grandfather is also his father!
After being told by Nolan for them to stay at the house seeing as Amanda was on the run after escaping jail, Jack and Amanda made the most of their time together – they finally had sex!
The happiness was short lived however, when Amanda wakes up and finds a note from Jack saying he has gone to get food. Amanda makes the most of the situation and decides to disguise herself and head out and find dental records to prove that Victoria faked her death.
When Jack returned, White Gold (Margeaux’s hit-woman) was waiting for Jack and stabbed him because he wouldn’t tell her where Amanda was. Thankfully, not long after, police raided the house and rushed Jack to the hospital.
Jack getting injured made Amanda even more angry and she wanted Victoria’s blood. With Louise’s help (she realised during the course of the episode who was the good side), Emily confronted Victoria and their final showdown started.
As Amanda raised her gun, Victoria made her aware that she had installed cameras and Amanda would be in jail for life if she kills her. Amanda didn’t seem to care and pulled the trigger – but it wasn’t her gun that shot Victoria – it was David’s, who was standing behind her. David knew that because of his terminal cancer, he had nothing to lose and would rather him go to jail than Amanda. While they were discussing that – Victoria found one last ounce of strength and picked up a gun and shot Amanda before she died.
Luckily, Amanda survived. David went to jail but then got compassionate release to be at home when he died. Which he did – sitting on the front porch of the beach house with Amanda.
Then we saw Charlotte and Amanda at David’s grave. An eerie moment was when Emily walked past the graves of Conrad, Daniel and Victoria Grayson.
Margeaux sets up a fake job for White Gold – to kill Nolan. She walks in and stabs Nolan’s hand to the bar with a knife. He then tasers her. Margeaux decides to turn herself into the police and tell them everything she has done.
In the final moments of the episode, we saw Jack and Amanda get married (Jack asked David for his permission earlier in the episode when he was in hospital after getting stabbed). They sailed off into the sunset together on the boat that David gave Jack.
A strange moment at the end was when Amanda wakes up from a nightmare – she had to have a heart transplant after Victoria shot her, and the heart they used was Victoria’s. It seemed like a flashback, but will we ever know?
