Ryan Reynolds’ Father Passes Away
Ryan Reynolds father has passed away after an almost 20 year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Ryan took to Twitter, posting an old image of him in his father’s arms when he was a baby.
He captioned the photo, RIP Pops. James C. Reynolds. 1941-2015 If possible, please donate/support: http://www.michaeljfox.org
Ryan spoke about his father’s condition during an interview in November.
“My father really hasn’t ever said he has Parkinson’s disease,” he revealed. “He comes from a pretty prideful generation and he doesn’t really talk about it too much. He’s maybe said it once or twice out loud.”
Ryan became involved in the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2008, and has since joined the board of directors.
