Shannon Noll Start Petition to Have him Represent Australia at Eurovision

Fans of Shannon Noll are petitioning that he be the next artist to represent Australia at Eurovision.

Following in the footsteps of the Guy Sebastian – who he came second to on Australian Idol all of those years back, it looks like Shannon Noll could be the next Australian artist to represent our country at Eurovision – if his fans have their way.

Patrick Connors from Brisbane, started the online request claiming Shannon fit the criteria of a typical Australian perfectly.

‘What better man to represent Australia, than the pride and joy of Condobolin, NSW and Australian Idol 2003 runner-up, Shannon Noll,’ the petition, which has so far received 566 signatures, read.

‘Can you honestly think of one man that embodies the Australian ideals of persistence and mateship more than Shannon Noll? A measly fifth place wouldn’t be enough for Nollsy, the man would very well lead us to 1st given his calibre.’
