Their smiles light up a room, but it seems that it isn’t all happiness for the Irwin family right now.
According to reports, Terri Irwin and her children Bindi and Bob are getting sued for a breach of contract, after they allegedly said they wanted to “take a break” and make some changes to their filming arrangements with Zoo Sky Media.
It’s believed that the company has filed the lawsuit with the Victorian Supreme Court asking for damages, costs and interest to the Irwin family.
The Irwin’s, along with Zoo directors Adam Schoff and Michael John Whitfort signed onto the contract back in 2010. Since then, Zoo Sky Media has helped market, promote and manage the whole family.
According to news.com.au, the statement says, “Terri Irwin said to Schoff that she and her children had been reassessing their lives and wanted to take a step back from all the activity associated with filming, they needed to take a break, and they needed to step out of the agreement.”
The Irwin family are yet to comment.
