The ‘Leave Britney Alone’ Guy Chris Crocker Looks Very Different These Days
YouTube sensation Chris Crocker is being labelled as ‘hot’ these days… but he doesn’t like it!
Almost 10 years ago, Chris Crocker became a viral sensation with his plea to ‘leave Britney Spears alone’ after her widely criticized performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.
In the video that made him famous, which he has since deleted, he cried, “She hasn’t performed on stage in years. Her song is called ‘Gimme More’ for a reason — because all you people want is more! More, more, more, more! Leave her alone! You are lucky she even performed for you bastards! Leave Britney alone! Please!”
These days, Chris is looking hugely different to the man in the video – he’s gotten rid of the blonde hair, grown a bit of scruff, and beefed up.
Chris has expressed his discomfort on social media about being labelled ‘hot’ these days, saying – “I know a lot of people are just going to say, ‘Just take a compliment and shut up.’ Who doesn’t like compliments, right? Again, it isn’t that I’m anti-compliments. It’s just that I want others to know that because I was mocked before I was liked- Society is fickle.”
