Trainers Blow up on TBL Families

Tempers were certainly on fire TBL Families on the Monday night!
Trainer Shannan Ponton accused Steve ‘Commando’ Willis and Michelle Bridges of using their relationship to create an alliance between their two teams.
“You two are in a relationship and I’m over the smoke and mirrors … You’ve got a partner, you would never vote your partner out,” Shannan said.
Both trainers leapt to defend themselves against the allegations.
“My stance on it all is I’m not going to bring my personal life into my work life,” Commando said. “I have a job to do. Nothing more, nothing less.”

Michelle explained that she treated the series as her job, and didn’t bring her personal life into it.
“This isn’t our game!” she said. “Having done nine years of this show and worked with all ranges of families, all ranges of contestants, my view has never changed: stay out of the politics. I’m here to train them.”
In a radio interview this morning, Commando discussed the controversy, denying that he and Michelle had arranged an alliance to protect their teams.
“There’s nothing like the teams forming an alliance and trying to take out the competition,” he said. “Seriously, between Michelle and I, no. The Black and Red Teams, that was their doing.”
Commando and Michelle have been dating for about two years are currently expecting their first baby together.
