I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here kicked off this week and we finally found out which celebrities were going in to brave the jungle!
Maureen McCormick – who played Marcia in the Brady Bunch, Laura Dundovic – model and former Miss Universe Australia, Merv Hughes – iconic cricketer, Chrissie Swan – reality tv and radio personality, Lauren Brant – former HI 5 member, Leisel Jones – Australian swimmer, Joel Creasey – up and coming comedian, Barry Hall – AFL great, Andrew Daddo – Australian tv legend and model Tyson Mayr.

Hearts broke around the country when it was revealed that Steve Peacocke, who plays Brax on Home and Away, is leaving the show and has filmed his last scenes.
His wife Bridgette (who plays Sophie on the show) has also left and the pair have moved to Los Angeles to try their luck.

Sad news for TV and radio presenter Glenn Wheeler who was knocked off his scooter on his way to work.
He was airlifted to hospital with serious head and internal injuries. He is still in an induced coma but doctors are happy with his progress so far.

Happy news for Singer Shakira and her partner Gerard Pisque who welcomed their second child together, a little boy they named Sasha.

Whitney Houston’s 21 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown found unconscious by her partner Nick Gordon in the bathtub of their home. She was revived by paramedics at the scene and then taken to hospital where she was put into intensive care. The story is scarily similar to how her mother died. Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills almost 3 years ago. At the time of writing, latest reports were that family and friends were sadly visiting the hospital to say their goodbyes.

Aussie actress Rebecca Gibney told Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that she once dated Richard Wilkins, and he broke her heart when he cheated on her with an air hostess! When Rebecca was 22, Richard was leaving on a plane when she gave him a rose. He ended up re-gifting the rose to the air hostess without realizing that it hard a card attached that read, ‘I’ll Miss You’. Being in the same industry, it would have to be hard bumping into each other occasionally but Rebecca explained that these days, its fine. “It was a bit messy for a while because he did break my heart a little bit but we’re mates now. Richard, if you’re listening please forgive me.”

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married at his home in Los Angeles on February 3rd. It was a simple ceremony for the couple, who have planned a big wedding celebration at Johnny’s private island, known as Little Hall’s Pond Cay, in the Bahamas. Johnny will then fly to Australia to start filming Pirates of The Caribbean 5.
