Are you a child of the 80’s
If the answer is yes, then you will be no stranger to the ‘scratch and sniff,’ phenomenon right?
Smellies Clothing have taken it a step further than the stickers and cards of yesteryear and in September 2011 launched their nostalgia-inspired range of ‘Scratch N Smell’ T-shirts. Healthy eating and fruit in particular just became even more fun and funky with styles and scents available including banana, grape, apple, and strawberry.
If that isn’t enough to set you on the path of reminiscing childhood summertime memories, then get a load of this…Smellies Clothing are about to launch their new colourchange range.
Oh yeah, baby, you read it right! Colourchange! (I think I just died and went to nostalgia heaven!)
Who could fail to remember those T-shirts that changed colour with your body heat? (Fun for kids…although not quite so flattering on sweaty adults, me thinks!)
For those of you who are too young to remember or who lived under a rock in the 80’s, the fabric changes colour with heat from the body or environment, and then changes back to its original colour once it has cooled.
Smellies Clothing uses leuco dyes on their colour change products which are organic, safe and hygienic. Similarly, the scent used for the Scratch N Smell range has been given the non-toxic safety stamp, so there is no need to worry about nasty chemicals on your children’s skin.
We are giving Smellies Sratch N Sniff and Colourchange range a BIG nostalgic Mum’s thumbs up! We are excited to revive and relive some fun and funky blasts from the past, and to share them with our own children.
We are also excited to announce that one lucky Mum’s Lounge reader will WIN a T-shirt of their choice from the Smellies Clothing range.
