YAY!! The two year wait is over!
So we have just over two weeks to prepare for this momentous occasion. Plenty of time to remember exactly why we love the Proudmans so much, and to speculate exactly what might be in store for Nina during season six.
We love the sisterly bonds between Nina and Billie and the way they’ve stuck by each other’s side through life’s ups and downs. We are left either wishing we had a similar relationship with our sisters or recognising that bond in our own lives and valuing it all the more. Many a movie or television show have been based on the relationships between strong women, but this one hits home because they are just like us, more or less.
The Proudman family’s misunderstandings, health issues, big get-togethers and little victories are similar to those we face in our own lives. They love each other like we do, they mess up like we do, and we love them all the more for it.
And then there’s Nina’s amazing sense of style! Let’s face it, if I tried to piece together outfits like Nina I’d end up looking more hobo-chic than boho-chic.
It’s easy to look fabulous if you have loads of money – but Nina is one of us, not one of the Housewives, and wears things that you might find at your local Westfield, throwing them all together perfectly. To say I’m envious of her style is an understatement.
So what will happen during Season Six? What drama will come? Is there life after “happily ever after”? How did Muriel Heslop’s brother become a doctor?
It will be amazing to see these two much-loved Aussie actors together again after their on-screen marriage in Love My Way as Julia and Charlie. Will they get their happy ending?
All will be revealed when Offspring season 6 hits our screens in a little over two weeks! Get the girls together, start stockpiling the Jatz and dips, grab some wine, do whatever you gotta do! Let the boys have their Origin Wednesday, it will be our turn the week later!
