Bride Shares Hilarious Wedding Cake Fail On TikTok

Thank God this bride has a sense of humour because the cake she received for her wedding was NOTHING like what she had initially ordered!

TikToker and new bride Taylor Hunt was shocked to see the wedding cake she thought she was getting was nothing like what she received. I mean it wasn’t a bad cake, it just wasn’t the right cake. Watch:

“I got married last week and it was perfect it all went great, except for this one thing,” she says. Taylor then goes on to explain that she had chosen a white buttercream cake with the word ‘Amore’ written on the side. “The bakers were like ‘Yep, easy,’” she continues.

“We didn’t have an official cake-cutting moment … thank God! Because this is the cake we got,” Taylor says between laughs before sharing a pic of the cake they received.

This cake had non icing on it and instead of “amore” written down the side there was a chocolate disc on top with the words “My Darling.” Surely the baker delivered the wrong cake!

Taylor then goes on to explain that her mum, who was in charge of ordering the cake, messaged the bakers to see if in fact they hard Ellie red the wrong cake, but guess what? They hadn’t! Apparently the cake people said it was in fact “the right cake, they just missed some details.”

Hahaha! Luckily the bride and groom saw the funny side to the whole thing and decided to just go with it. I mean what choice did they have? Commenters also loved their sense of humour leaving comments on the video like:

“Omg Tay!!! Nooooo,” wrote one friend.

While one guest at the wedding said: “Stop!!! How come I didn’t notice this?” To which Taylor answered that damage control “was swift.”

“That literally makes no sense whatsoever..in what realm is that even remotely close?” another said. “They definitely didn’t finish it, that has to be what happened.”

“You definitely got the wrong one and they didn’t want to admit it,” added one person.

Most commenters agreed that for sure the couple received the wrong cake.

“As a wedding cake baker, one of my worst nightmares is delivering a cake to the wrong wedding,” one wrote.

And while they didn’t get a full refund, the couple did receive a discount which seemed to infuriate commenters even more so.

“and they only gave you a discount??? holy cow i’d be so mad but good on you not letting it ruin your day!!” said one angry poster.

“I’d have demanded a refund and if they refused to give it, name and shame,” someone else wrote. “That’s ridiculous!”
