Awesome Stress-Busting Tactic for the School Run – Bohemian Rhapsody Style

For many parents, the school run can be nothing short of stressful. Slow moving traffic, squabbling children and confined spaces are most definitely not the stuff that parental dreams are made of. And those three cups of coffee that we sucked back just to help us open our eyes probably didn’t help either. twitch, twitch

So, why not take a leaf out of this Dad’s book?

Engaging the whole family in something positive means no more squabbles!  Hoorah!

Traffic?  That’s not traffic, that’s our audience!

And we all know that the family that sings together stays together, right?  Just ask the Von Trapps!

Let’s face it, there is perhaps no better song to get everyone strumming the electric air guitar in the back seat, or banging the imaginary symbols than Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’  One thing is for sure…this family rocks!

Watch the little fellas lips in the back, I don’t think he misses a word!  Hilarious and adorable and a sure-fire parental stress buster if ever I saw one!

Do you and your children have a favourite song/album to sing to in the car?

Jolene enjoys writing, sharing and connecting with other like-minded women online – it also gives her the perfect excuse to ignore Mount-Washmore until it threatens to bury her family in an avalanche of Skylander T-shirts and Frozen Pyjama pants. (No one ever knows where the matching top is!) Likes: Reading, cooking, sketching, dancing (preferably with a Sav Blanc in one hand), social media, and sitting down on a toilet seat that one of her children hasn’t dripped, splashed or sprayed on. Dislikes: Writing pretentious crap about herself in online bio’s and refereeing arguments amongst her offspring.
