A Man Shares a List Of How “To Be a Beautiful Woman” and It’s as Ridiculous as It Sounds!
A Man Shares a List Of How “To Be a Beautiful Woman” and It’s as Ridiculous as It Sounds!
I don’t know about you, but I am SO grateful that a man has FINALLY come up with a list for us mere women to follow in order to ‘be beautiful.’ I mean, how else would we know how to act, what to wear and how to behave with the opposite sex?
Thank you Alexander Cortes! Your list is super helpful and I love the little tidbits of advice like “be thin,” “wear make-up,” and “listen to men.” Seriously, how did you think of these? You must be so smart! Oh wait, your profile describes you as a personal trainer, dancer, writer and solo entrepreneur. Wow, how impressive! You are such a catch – pity I’m married!*
The unapologetic list was shared on Twitter on Thursday and has since gone viral. Understandably it’s enraged both men and women who have called him “horrifying”.
The 29-year-old Californian says women need to “be able to cook”, “have long hair” and “wear pink and feminine colours”.
Apparently this 12 step guide provides advice for men as well – in fact they can use it as a checklist to sift though undesirable women.
“Remember, only a man can tell a woman how to act,” he said. “You can use this list to vet women. If you show them this list and they become angry, that lets you know that they are harpies that you never want to breed with and that they would be terrible mothers.”
Not happy with just posting the ridiculously misogynist list he then went on to share a selfie of his mug because apparently the women were in desperate need of it “to satisfy their fantasies.”
“I see a lot of you women are desperate for my validation and attention. Here’s a selfie that you can use to satisfy your fantasies,” he wrote under the photo.
One person said: “How to be a beautiful man: Don’t be Alexander J.A. Cortes.”
“Horrifying that people with these sorts of beliefs actually exist outside of bad self-published fiction,” another added.
“You actually made my vagina curl up and die just so you know,” one woman declared, while another added: “Sorry not a fan of long hair on men, Fabio or sexist Fabio wannabes like @AJA_Cortes.”
Cortes could give two hoots and merely responded with, “all you did was increase my Twitter following by 5000 people. Telling 100 women to go after my Instagram, telling me I’m ugly…. what did you actually do, what did you achieve … it doesn’t do or mean anything to me.”
The self proclaimed Romeo also shared a list titled “top 10 red flags in women,” which include things like “doesn’t care about looking pretty,” not being able to cook, being a feminist, being “overly fat” and not liking children.
Cortes received similar backlash in November when he shared his thoughts on women who had “unnatural hair colours”, claiming that’s a “warning signal to stay away”.
I don’t know about you, but I can think of a few points of my own that may help Cortes be less of a wanker. Starting with…no-one cares!! Next!
