Little Girl’s Demanding Tooth Fairy Letter Divides The Internet
When a mum shared her daughter’s letter to the tooth fairy, many slammed it saying ‘That brat is a Karen in training!’ Do you agree?
Sharing the letter to Reddit, the mum says her daughter Addy requested more money than last time and was expecting at least $25.00 for the tooth. She addressed the letter to mum, dad and tooth fairy and made her demands crystal clear. The letter read:
“Dear mom, dad and tooth fairy. Can I please have $25. I want more money than last time, or else I will be mad!”
“Boy, she’s gonna be really p***ed when she goes to the dentist and they start pulling teeth and charging her for taking them,” one person said.
“Karen in training,” wrote another.
Another offered some helpful advice for the youngster, “Dear Child, Here is a dollar for your tooth. The other $24 is going into your anger management therapy fund. Love, mum/dad/tooth fairy.”
One commenter had a stern warning for Addy, “Dear Addy, Until you find your manners, this is what you get. Love, mom/dad *Leaves nothing.”
The mum says she didn’t expect the letter to cause such a divide in her comments section. In fact she just assumed many would find the humour in it and think back to their own tooth fairy stories, which some did.
“My mum used to give me a 1 dollar bill with shimmery eyeshadow rubbed into it,” one person remembered.
“My mum sprinkled “pixie dust” on our pillows. It was a very specific iridescent glitter that she only used for tooth fairy occurrences,” said another. “Flash forward to our family cruise when I lose a tooth on the ship. I wake up to blue glitter on my pillow and my mom oohing and ahhing that the tooth fairies pixie dust turned blue from flying over the ocean so long to get to the ship!!!”
What do you think? Is $25 too much for a tooth? What should Addy’s mum do??
