Being Vacuum Packed For Photos Is Now A Thing!
Japanese Photographer Haruhiko Kawaguchi is cling wrapping lovers for the ultimate photo experience!
This is not for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia or has a fear of…I don’t know…SUFFOCATING TO DEATH FROM BEING IN A PLASTIC BAG!
Kawaguchi uses large space saver bags where the couples go into, sometimes nude, and get into the pose of their choice. He then sucks ALL the air out of the bags using a good old vacuum cleaner. The photographer then has precisely 10 seconds to take the the photo before, you know- the couple DIES! Apparently there are people on hand to slash the bag should anyone start to feel distressed. The whole shoot from start to finish takes two hours.
The reason behind this madness is quite romantic. Kawaguchi says he wants the couples to be drawn together as much as physically possible- so they appear to become one- or look like a frozen turkey- same same really!
So there you have it! A totally new and unique way to express your love for each other- and just imagine how kick arse your Christmas Photos will be this year!
