Watch This Hilariously Perfect ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ Parody About Labour and Birth!

A group of mums took on Will Smith’s now iconic theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and turned it into a funny saga about how your life can get flipped, turned upside down by welcoming a baby.

Chelsea Cunningham, Deidra Romero, Lauren Tenney and Jenilee Vander Elst ― known collectively as The Texting Yoga Pants ― released a parody on YouTube last week set to the theme song from the retro series “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

“Yo homes, smell ya later!”

Their hilarious video covers a new mum’s labour experience from presenting to the delivery suite until leaving the hospital confused and clutching a crying baby. They even touch on ‘mother guilt’ before the baby is even born, with the mum forgetting the nappies and wondering if she’s a “bad mum” already.

Gosh these women are clever, aren’t they? This sums up what I think of this catchy parody that’s quickly going viral…
