It’s official! Margot Robbie married her longtime boyfriend Tom Ackerley in a secret ceremony in Byron Bay over the weekend and now the actress has confirmed the news with one simple and cheeky photo.

Robbie shared the pic below on Instagram showing the happy couple kissing with her left hand ring finger  pointed at the camera, showing off a large teardrop shaped stone on a thin platinum diamond-encrusted band with an even thinner wedding band.

During the private ceremony, which had no more than 50 guests, Robbie wore a gorgeous cream-coloured dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a big lace ruffle across the bust. She teamed her look with a simple gold necklace. The actress’ hair was casually swept back into a loose french braid with a few stray curls framing her face. She didn’t look to be wearing a veil.

Sources say that the couple, who met in 2013 on set of World War II drama Suite Française in France, decided not to sell their wedding photos to a magazine which would have seen them receive hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Even the invited guests were told to hand in their mobile phones and cameras so we will have to wait for the official photos from the couple themselves!
