Well, we know just the thing you and your family can do to show your support, and it’s going to be fun, fun, fun! Sharpen your pencils, and prepare for Colour for a Cause, the colouring in competition with a big heart.
We caught up with supermum Heidi Evans, the brains behind ‘Colour for a Cause’ to find out more about the idea that’s really putting the ‘fun’ into fundraising.
“I dreamed up ‘Colour for a Cause’ when my one of a kind, 3 year old daughter Zara was diagnosed with Leukaemia,” Heidi explains. “My goal is to raise funds for kinder, gentler treatments for children with cancer, and to show just how AMAZING, BRAVE and STRONG they are.”
“Love Your Sister, have kindly arranged for 100% of funds raised will go to Children’s Cancer Institute’s Zero Childhood Cancer program in support of their Liquid Biopsy research initiative.”
“This exciting research is a step towards personalised treatment for children with cancer in Australia and kinder more gentle solutions for them and their families.”

Heidi has collaborated with five Australian artists, so that every 10 days throughout the competition, a new colouring sheet will be available to download. Just one donation gives you access to all 5 sheets (and a few little extras).

Open to Australian residents of any age. Children under 18 years of age must have permission and consent from their parent/legal guardian to enter. Jolene enjoys writing, sharing and connecting with other like-minded women online – it also gives her the perfect excuse to ignore Mount-Washmore until it threatens to bury her family in an avalanche of Skylander T-shirts and Frozen Pyjama pants. (No one ever knows where the matching top is!) Likes: Reading, cooking, sketching, dancing (preferably with a Sav Blanc in one hand), social media, and sitting down on a toilet seat that one of her children hasn’t dripped, splashed or sprayed on.
