Hilarious Parody Video Depicting Lycra Clad Women

Wearing gym clothes while not actually going to the gym or doing anything that remotely resembles exercise, is a phenomenon that is sweeping across the nation. In fact I recently wrote about this lycra craze here.

We all know women like this. In fact we are all probably women like this! Who hasn’t thrown on a pair of Lorna Jane leggings and a t-shirt to go do the school pick up or do a quick supermarket shop? That’s right- everyone has.

A group of Sydney comics, Skit Box, have taken the internet by storm with their latest parody production — literally mocking ‘girls who wear activewear, to do not-active things.’
The 2 minute video takes viewers through a relatively normal day — grocery shopping, coffee catch ups and even a trip to the movies. But each and every woman is donned in colourful crop-tops, vibrant visors and slick sneakers — without actually getting ‘active.’
The clip kicks off with a woman walking down Manly beach and running in to a friend. ‘Are you going to the gym,” she asks. ‘No,’ she replies, ‘I’m just going shopping in my activewear.’

Watch this hilarious video  and see how many times you can see yourself in it!
