3 Styles of Jeans Every Mum Should Own

Jeans are a mum’s uniform right? For me, they are the hardest wearing piece in my wardrobe. But I don’t just have one pair. I have a few that I keep on high rotation in my wardrobe. There are three styles of jeans  every mum should own and we’ve found some celebrity mums who agree.

The first jean is the boyfriend style or harem style jean. For some, these jeans are seen to be unflattering, but if you find a slimmer fit, the bagginess won’t over power your frame. I find these jeans my favourite to wear when I’m playing on the floor with my kids.

The second jean is the high-rise skinny jean. If I’m having a fat day, I grab these jeans out because they suck in cuddly bits and make me look slimmer than I really am. These jeans are easy to dress up or down.

The third jean is the luxe ‘going out’ jean. These jeans are kept for going out somewhere special with the kids or can be dressed up at night for date night.

Do you own all three pairs of these jeans in your wardrobe? What other jeans do you recommend mums should have? We’d love to hear your recommendations.
