Melting Snowman Bark Recipe
Melting Snowman Bark Recipe
This is one for the kids to help with this Christmas and how adorable are they!
Super simple to do, just melt some plain white chocolate and add the body parts, set and break into pieces. You might struggle to find the eyeballs but most cake stores should have them. I managed to find them in our local lolly store. Use pretzels or licorice pieces for arms, the carrots are chopped up orange Starbursts, the buttons are mini M&Ms and the hats are small chocolate cups cut in half. If you can get mini Hershey’s peanut butter cups, they will be perfect but anything resembling a hat will be just as great!
300g white chocolate, melted
16 candy eyeballs
24 red mini M&Ms
3 chopped orange Starburst (or any orange candy)
4 small chocolate cups cut in half
4 licorice pieces, cut
Lay out your snowman pieces on your workbench before you do anything else as the chocolate can set quite quickly and you need to know what sort of spacing to allow.
Then lay out a large sheet of baking paper below the pieces.
Spread the white chocolate over the baking paper and working quickly, add the snowman pieces.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes until set. Use a very sharp knife and place the sheet of baking paper on a board so you can cut around the shapes.
