This Fitness Trainer Shows the Truth Behind Posed Photos on Instagram

If there’s one intention we should be jumping on this year, it should be loving our body.

Yet it’s not easy to do when we see flaws like cellulite, stretch marks and rolls – often as a result of having babies.

But Trainer Anna Victoria loves her body, cellulite and all.

Anna’s Instagram feed is full of selfies showing her abs and videos of doing squats. Yet, despite her fit physique, she’s not afraid to be real with her 1.2 million followers about the realities of flexing and posing to look good on Instagram.

Anna recently shared two photos of herself side-by-side on Instagram. In the first photo, the trainer is flexing her muscles and the next photo she is sitting down, with rolls. She titled the post, “Me 1% of the time vs. 99% of the time.”

Me 1% of the time vs. 99% of the time. And I love both photos equally. Good or bad angles don’t change your worth ❤️ I recently came across an article talking about how one woman stated she refuses to accept her flaws, because she doesn’t see them as flaws at all. I LOVED that because it sends such a powerful message that our belly rolls, cellulite, stretch marks are nothing to apologize for, to be ashamed of, or to be obsessed with getting rid of! As I’m getting older, I have cellulite and stretch marks that aren’t going away, and I welcome them. They represent a life fully lived (for 28 years so far :)) and a healthy life and body at that. How can I be mad at my body for perfectly normal “flaws”? This body is strong, can run miles, can lift and squat and push and pull weight around, and it’s happy not just because of how it looks, but because of how it feels. So when you approach your journey, I want you to remember these things: I will not punish my body I will fuel it I will challenge it AND I will love it ??? If you’re following my page, you’re a part of helping me spread this message and creating this movement – thank you. #fbggirls www.annavictoria.com/guides by @annavictoria

The 28-year-old explained our worth shouldn’t be determined by what angle we take our photo. We should embrace our bodies for what they are and welcome the changes that come as we get older – like cellulite and stretch marks.

“As I’m getting older, I have cellulite and stretch marks that aren’t going away, and I welcome them. They represent a life fully lived (for 28 years so far :)) and a healthy life and body at that.”

Anna further explains she doesn’t believe in body flaws.

“How can I be mad at my body for perfectly normal “flaws”? This body is strong, can run miles, can lift and squat and push and pull weight around, and it’s happy not just because of how it looks, but because of how it feels.”

Anna’s message is one we should all listen too. We often compare our bodies to what we see in magazines or on the internet. But we need to love our bodies for keeping us alive and allowing us to live.

Anna encourages her followers, “when you approach your journey, I want you to remember these things:

I will not punish my body

I will fuel it

I will challenge it

AND I will love it.”

Anna is an advocate for healthy body image and her fans love her for it. They love her honesty and realness. We definitely need to have more Anna’s on our Instagram feed. Don’t you agree?
