Review: Kadi Kids Carry-On Adventure Luggage — A Must Have for Mini Travellers

Written by Char Hampton

With one set of grandparents living in the UK, our daughter has been racking up air miles before she could even walk (even if she doesn’t remember it). So, for our recent staycation at Seaworld on the Gold Coast to celebrate her fourth birthday, we decided to upgrade her travel gear and gave the Kadi Kids Carry-On Adventure Suitcase a go.

Honestly, I wish we’d discovered it sooner.

We haven’t taken it on a flight just yet, but after seeing how well it performed on our hotel getaway, I’m already convinced this suitcase is going to be a game-changer when we next hit the airport.

Even though it was only an overnight stay, having her own suitcase made such a difference. She loved being in charge of her own things and helping to pack her everything she’d need —swimmers, her current favourite outfit, bedtime toy, and even her toothbrush. The layout is simple and accessible, so when we arrived she could unzip it and grab what she needed without rummaging through my suitcase. It felt like a win for both of us to be honest. She got to feel grown up and I didn’t have to micromanage every little item.

Because it is lightweight and has 360-degree spinner wheels, it was really easy for my daughter to wheel her own case, (which she also loved!) This might not seem like such a big deal when you’re just going from the car across the carpark and up in an elevator to the hotel room, but in an airport where you have to walk what feels like miles to get to your gate, this will be a godsend. The other great thing is that because it is so bright and colourful it’s easy to see where she is at a glance.

Our favourite feature of the suitcase though is the front pocket with the removable activity folder. I stocked it with colouring pencils, a few snacks, stickers and a small book, and she could easily take them out without opening up the whole suitcase, so it was perfect for the car ride and downtime in the hotel. It’ll be so handy for flights when the time comes!

During our little break, this suitcase got the full preschooler treatment—rolled over bumpy, uneven ground, tipped over, sat on, stuffed full—and it held up beautifully. I love that it’s made from scratch-resistant material, so any marks can be wiped off with a cloth and it’s back to looking new in seconds. Everything about this suitcase feels high-quality and built to last.

Whether you’re hopping on plane or packing them off to Nana’s house for a sleepover, the Kadi Kids Carry-On Luggage is one of those travel items that makes life easier. Not only does it encourage independence, but it also keeps everything organised and helps make travel feel exciting and fun for little ones.

Our daughter absolutely loves having her own ‘big girl’ suitcase, and I know it’ll be coming along on all of our travel adventures from now on!
