Candidate For Governor Of Wisconsin Breastfeeds Her Daughter During Campaign Ad!
Kelda Roys, a Democratic candidate for governor of Wisconsin, released a campaign video in which she casually breastfeeds her baby while discussing the hazards of BPA, the toxic chemical commonly found in baby bottles.
The politician’s campaign ad also features her husband and two small children. While Roys is mid sentence, her husband comes into the frame and hands her their baby. Like a total badass mum she takes her daughter and starts breastfeeding her, never skipping a beat in her story as she explains how proud she is of her work to ban BPA’s in Wisconsin.
Roys talks about her effort to pass legislation that prohibited the use of the chemical, known as BPA, while she was in the state Assembly. BPA is still used in the US in plastics for consumer product packaging and resin for can linings.
