Entitled Woman Demands Her Next Door Neighbour’s Children Stay Inside as Her Dog Won’t Stop Barking at Them

Entitled Woman Demands Her Next Door Neighbour’s Children Stay Inside as Her Dog Won’t Stop Barking at Them

Well, the results are in, and the woman who demands that the children next door stay inside so her dog won’t bark at them is the current titleholder.

It seems absurd that someone would have the temerity, the sheer audacity, to hold others accountable for their own animal’s actions, but here we are.

Recently, a Reddit user asked the “Am I The Asshole” community if it was wrong of her to insist her neighbours keep their children inside at certain times throughout the day because her dog “barks incessantly whenever they’re in the yard at the same time.”

Ohhh honey.

If you were feeling conflicted before, you won’t be after reading all the comments you received since you hit that ‘post’ button!

Shit got wild, let me tell ya. It was one of the first times there was a complete consensus within the Am I The Asshole community. An asshole miracle, if you will.

“You just ruined your reputation with your new neighbours who have done nothing wrong, and probably within the neighbourhood. You’re that person now. Train your dog and keep him inside when their children are out.”

“Imagine trying to train your whole entire neighbourhood instead of your spoiled dog.”

The tirade paused briefly while someone asked a pertinent question regarding the outdoor situation — are we talking about a shared space here? Nope! The OP responded: “They’re basically your typical suburban houses, there’s a fence back there.”

On with the ridicule then.

“It’s your job to train your dog not to bark and it is in no way, shape, or form, your neighbour’s job to ‘compromise’ with you. They’re allowed to be in their backyard whenever they want.”

“Call me crazy, maybe go to the backyard to play with the dog. Or is that just completely nuts?”

Can you believe the entitlement of this woman? What would you say to her?
