Hilarious “That’s Not My Teenager…” Series of Pictures Rings True for Sooooo Many Parents
We’ve all seen the adorable little “That’s Not My…” book series aimed at young children. Featuring sweet imagery and interactive textures describing all the different characteristics of different animals, the Usborne books are a definite hit with the preschool set.
There is a series of parody images getting around, hilariously entitled “That’s Not My Teenager”, nailing all the defining characteristics of every parent’s most favourite age group.
I tell ya, I’ve not related to something this hard since watching Bridesmaids for the first time.
They even nailed the font and aesthetic qualities of the classic book series. Brilliant.
As is to be expected, parents all over the place understood the complexities of living with teenagers entirely.
“This is our house right now!” wrote one weary parent. “This is spot on!”
“Everyone warns you and you think not my adorable kiddie winks, then bam!” added another.
Teens are fun, aren’t they?
