Lara Bingle Reveals The ‘Speedy’ Name Of Her Youngest Son!

It’s been five months since Lara Bingle gave birth to her second son with husband Sam Worthington and now she’s finally revealed his unusual name.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the Aussie model announced her youngest is called Racer. A sibling to two year old brother Rocket Zot. Yep, first there was Rocket and now there is Racer.

Bingle was forced to defend Rocket Zot’s name initially after speculation started circulating that it was in fact fake!

“My son’s middle name IS a respectful nod to my late father, whose nickname was affectionately, Zot,” Bingle wrote on social media one month after he was born.

Bingle and Worthington first began dating in September 2013, and they were married in the Maldives around New Year’s Eve 2013.

While Rocket and Racer are definitely up there as far as unusual names go, they are by no means alone. Gwyneth Paltrow has Apple and Moses. Busy Philips has two girls named Birdie and Cricket. The Wests have Saint and North. Alicia Silverstone has Bear Blu. Mariah Carey has twins Moroccan and Monroe. And my all time favourite is still Nicolas Cage’s choice of Kal-el for his son which is the Krypton name of Superman!
