Mums of young children often feel pretty much invisible at times. We kinda fade into the background in public and to be honest, we’re okay with that. We’d prefer fewer eyeballs seeing us in our tracky daks with mashed banana on the thighs if we can help it! It’s not a glamorous life, being a mum of young children, that’s for sure.
Mum blogger Mary Katherine Backstrom has shared her hilarious story about the time that a gorgeous young man stopped her in the shopping centre car park, and we can relate to her on so many levels!
“Ma’am! MA’AM! Excuse me!”, Mary Katherine beings her story.
“I was tossing the last bag of groceries into my trunk, when a gentleman who looked EXACTLY like Liam Hemsworth jogged across the parking lot toward me.
“His dashing blue eyes met mine as he reached his hand out…
“Hi, I believe you dropped this,” he smiled.
“Oh, yep. Sure did,” I replied, as I put this nearly-lost treasure back into my purse:
“Paw Patrol underwear with poop stains.”
Oh lady, we can relate. Why is it that it’s always the most awkward thing possible that provokes attention from a kind handsome stranger?
But the accompanying picture of the embarrassed mum holding up the offending item is hands down the very best part of this funny tale…
