Parents Claim Peppa Pig Toy Taught Their 3 Year Old to Swear
Parents in Waterloo, London have told of their shock and horror after their 3 year old son, Amari Blake alleged learnt the offensive phrase ‘F**k you’ from the Peppa Pig Fun & Learn Tablet, he had received for Christmas.
The parents of Amiri, who was born with rickets and learning difficulties, had hoped that the toy would help aid their sons speech development – and were initially ecstatic when he started to talk more thanks to the tablet.
But that joy quickly turned to horror when their son began repeating expletives.
“I was cooking in the kitchen when I heard him saying F**k you,’ dad, Garfield explains.
Whilst the tablet is supposed to say “find the odd one out” it does sound like something else entirely.
Watch the video and tell us if it sounds like a swear word to you.
This complaint comes just 12 months after a Cardiff mother’s similar experience, in which she claimed her 2 year old began using the ‘F-word’ after watching a Peppa Pig DVD.
For what it’s worth,it sounds to me like daddy Rabbit is saying the name of the band was the ‘Rocking Gazelles’ with an accent – but I can see how it might sound like something far worse.
But you decide.
