This Shocking Viral Video Shows Just How Quickly and Easily a Woman’s Drink Can Be Spiked

We are well aware of the dangers of accepting drinks from strangers or leaving our drinks unattended when we go out due to the risk of having them spiked with drugs. It is something that has been drilled into us for many years, and one of the most important lessons we can teach our children as they enter adulthood.

But now a shocking video is circulating demonstrating exactly how quickly and easily a drink can be laced with drugs.

Well, that’s horrifying!

Since sharing the video on Twitter, it has been viewed over 10 million times and shared almost 100,000 times.

While many Twitter users tried to claim the video was a fake, majority of viewers took it as a warning to be careful when drinking in public places.

Fake or not, the man was able to at the very least mimic putting something in this woman’s drink without her noticing, proving that all it takes is a moment’s distraction for a drink to be spiked. We aren’t known for being tremendously observant after a couple of drinks, either.

This video, whether the man dropped a substance into her cup or not, makes it frighteningly easy to see how this young woman could have been placed in a dangerous situation.

After watching the video, both girls tipped out their drinks to be on the safe side.
