Shopping online can be fraught with unexpected purchases. We’ve all seen plenty of hilarious ‘expectation vs reality’ posts around the internet of late, but this particular story has a little twist in that the buyer had a very good idea of what she was ordering and wanted to see what it looked like on a ‘real’ body.

Spotting a cute dinosaur print bodysuit at Shein, an anonymous shopper decided to order it and give it a test drive before leaving a hilarious review on the fashion retailer’s website.

The AU$6.95 skimpy polyester top is pictured on a model claiming to wear a size ‘small’ on the site. The outfit is described as sleeveless and is says it is to ‘fit type’ ‘skinny’ but is available in sizes XS to XL.

Yes, that is indeed a very skimpy dinosaur print bodysuit.

The woman reviewer said she wanted to see ‘a real body in it’ and shared a photo of herself wearing the bodysuit and posing in a mirror. She said: “It was under 10 dollars and I needed to see a real body in it. Mine worked just fine.”

“Would not recommend bending over quickly. Or any jostling around of any kind really. Nice fabric. Vibrant.

“Would be terrified to sit down while wearing. Definitely not able to fart in.”

This is the sort of product description we love to see. Honest, succinct, and above all, practical! There should be more fart warnings on clothing labels.
