Warning! If you post photos from your mobile phone you need to read this!

A Youtube video posted by NBC news has had over 21 million hits and this is why….  It is documenting the latest threat to us in the world of online predators and it’s all about how we post our photos online.

The GPS navigation built into most mobile phones these days can now document where your photos were taken down to pinpointing where you live, where you go and basically track your day to day movements.

Online settings need to be changed to private in order to protect ourselves and especially our chilldren.

At the end of the video it will tell you how to switch off your GPS settings on your phone so that no one can find out where your photo was taken.

The basic instructions seem to be go to location services in your settings and then click ‘off’ on the camera so that location and the camera are not connected.  You could turn all your location settings off but this would affect your GPS etc.

If you have anymore information on this please feel free to post below.
