Woman Slammed by “Incel” BIL for Disposing of a Used Pad in His Bathroom Bin
A woman has faced scathing criticism from her own husband and her “incel” brother-in-law after throwing her used sanitary pad in his bathroom garbage bin.
Apparently, this act was deemed “disrespectful” to her husband’s brother, and mind-blowingly, both men agreed that her actions were inappropriate.
Sharing the incident on social media, the husband wanted some feedback on his wife’s wildly improper behaviour at his (single) brother’s 31st birthday party which took place at his apartment.
“We went and had dinner and talked and everything was going well,” the woman’s husband wrote, noting that his wife and brother don’t generally get along but are able to be civil with each other.
“Later my brother went to use the bathroom and then came back looking pissed. He kept giving me and my wife looks but I didn’t know what was going on til he pulled me aside before we left and told me that my wife had left her used pad in his bathroom.”
“I was shocked and didn’t know what to say because this felt highly inappropriate,” the man continued. “He said he didn’t appreciate what my wife did and that it was a sign of disrespect towards him. I apologized profoundly and said I didn’t know about it. He asked me to speak to her or she wouldn’t be welcome in his place anymore.”
This is the part of the story where I thought she must have accidentally left her menstrual pad out in the open, or stuck it to the mirror or something. But no, this woman followed the correct pad disposal protocol by carefully rolling the pad and placing it in the wrapper of the next one before disposing of it in the bin.
“We got in the car and I asked my wife about it, she nonchalantly said there was nothing wrong with what she did and that my brother was being ridiculous.
“I kind of flipped and told her it was very inappropriate for her to leave her used pad in his place even if it was in the bathroom and in the trashcan because it made him uncomfortable. She yelled asking what she was supposed to do and I told her she could’ve taken it with her and thrown it outside.”
Really? He wanted her to carry a used pad around with her at a dinner party? Why not just give it to her husband to put in his pocket until they get home? Or hand it to her host at the dining table and ask him to dispose of it in a manner that he deems more acceptable?
Seriously, what was she meant to do with it when there was a garbage bin right there in the bathroom for other bathroom-related garbage?
It’s quite obvious that the brother-in-law has little experience interacting with women of any kind, and with an attitude like this, it doesn’t look like changing any time soon.
