Bedtime Made Easy? Our Experience with NATPAT Bedtime Stickers

NATPAT Bedtime Stickers

If you are struggling with your child at bedtime, you are not alone! Getting kids to sleep (and stay asleep) is one of the most common and challenging issues parents of younger children face, with many contributing factors coming into play. Resisting bedtime, especially amongst toddlers and preschoolers, is a sign that your child is trying to assert their independence. Knowing that this is ‘developmentally normal’ can be cold comfort though when you are exhausted from returning them to bed night after night! For other children, separation anxiety and fears, or over stimulation before bedtime can make it difficult for them to wind down for sleep, and in some cases night terrors or sleep walking can cause disruptions to sleep during the night.

Unfortunately, having one bad sleeper in the house can disrupt the whole family – affecting everyone’s mood, energy and patience levels. This means stress around sleeping can snowball quickly – after all, there is a reason why sleep deprivation has been used as a form of torture!

If you are looking for a natural, stress-free way to improve your child’s sleep quality and duration, NATPAT’s Bedtime Stickers may be what your bedtime routine needs.

What are NATPAT Bedtime Stickers?

Bedtime Stickers are a natural, easy-to-use tool designed to help kids relax and fall asleep more easily. These small, smiley-face patches stick to your child’s clothing or bedframe and are infused with a gentle blend of essential oils like lavender, mandarin, and vetiver—known for their calming effects. Unlike melatonin supplements or other sleep aids, Bedtime Stickers keeps things grounded in nature and simplicity. There’s no skin contact, no synthetic chemicals, and no need to convince your child to swallow or rub anything in. Just stick one on about half an hour before bed, and let the soothing aroma do the rest. For parents who want a fuss-free, drug-free addition to their bedtime routine, NATPAT offers a science-backed, parent-approved option that is as practical as it is gentle.

According to NATPAT you need to use the stickers for 24 nights so that your child’s body can adjust to the special blend of oils and calming formulation. In fact, their survey shows that Bedtime Stickers help children sleep longer, with an average increase of over an hour per night after just 3 weeks. Their risk-free trial and return policy mean that if you’re not 100% in love with them after the 24-night adjustment period you can ask for a full refund! So what have you got to lose?

NATPAT Bedtime Stickers are suitable for children 2 years and over.

Do NATPAT Bedtime Stickers Really Work for Kids? Our Honest Review

I’m not going to sugar-coat it, I was at my absolute wits end before I discovered Bedtime Stickers —willing to try anything, but too exhausted to conjure up any excitement at the prospect that it might actually work! If I’m really honest, I didn’t think a small, scented sticker would make any difference to the bedtime psychological warfare my toddler is known to inflict come 7pm! If my husband and I were no match for this tiny dictator, what hope did a sticker have?

Despite my misgivings, on the first night my daughter was excited when I showed her the stickers, and even more so when she realised how nice they smelled. She chose one of the smiley faces and happily stuck it to her PJ top. Whilst she certainly didn’t succumb to sleep immediately, my husband reported her winding down much quicker while they were reading the bedtime story, rather than trying to delay the imminent goodnight routine with incessant talking and questions just to keep the conversation going! Instead, she was content to snuggle up and listen to the story.

When she called out 10 minutes later that she was thirsty, I went to fetch her a drink bracing myself for the usual battle of wills. But I was surprised to see her almost asleep by the time I tip-toed into her room. She had a few sips and immediately settled back on the pillow and closed her eyes! Who even is this child?

Despite her attempts to revert back to her bedtime reign of terror, hubby and I were pleasantly surprised on night two and three to discover that our daughter didn’t have the usual stamina to prolong her antics half as long as usual. Could the stickers actually be working?

Look, I’m not going to pretend that my daughter turned into a sleep-loving angel overnight, because she certainly didn’t! We still had a couple of difficult nights with her but by the end of week two she was settling down for sleep with less carrying on and was falling asleep much quicker. My mother-in-law was so impressed by the change in her bedtime routine that we’re even going to trial a sleepover at Grandma’s (without Mum and Dad)—something none of us would have considered a short while ago! So we may even get a long-awaited and much-needed date night!

I don’t want to speak too soon and jinx myself but last week we had 6 straight drama-free nights in a row! Unheard of before!

Will I continue to use Bedtime Stickers? Yes! They’ve made a huge difference to our daughter’s sleep patterns and our stress levels! A friend of mine also gets the adult ones to help with insomnia and is having great results.

Would I recommend them to other parents? Absolutely, without hesitation! If you are having any sleep issues with your child, I’d encourage you to try them and persevere despite the hiccups on the way. The longer we have used them, the easier bedtime has become. Besides, with a risk-free trial period, why wouldn’t you?
