CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 3 Review

As any parent will tell you, nothing quite prepares you for the constant need to check on your child while they sleep, especially when they are a bub. Even when they’re perfectly fine, you’ll still find yourself tiptoeing into their room during the night “just to make sure.” That’s why I was excited to try the brand new CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 3, especially since I’d used the older CuboAi Plus and already loved it. I was curious…could this one actually be better?
Set-Up & First Impressions
Right out of the box, setup was a breeze. The instructions were simple, and I loved that it showed me exactly how to use all the different bases. From the mobile stand to the floor stand. Within 10 or so minutes, it was set up and ready to go.
The design feels sleek and modern, and there’s something reassuring about the little bird perched and watching over your bub.
The App Experience
The CuboAi app is mostly intuitive and straightforward to use, although I’ll admit, adding extra users (like my husband) was a little fiddly at first. One thing I noticed and didn’t love is that it can send a lot of notifications. While some parents might love that level of detail, I found myself turning a few off so I could relax without my phone constantly buzzing. If I had a newborn, I would absolutely leave all of them on, but I feel as I (and my daughter) get more confident and less anxious, I don’t need as many notifications.
On the plus side, I adore the built in lullabies and white noise feature. White noise is part of our bedtime ritual every night, and having it in the app means one less gadget cluttering the nursery.
Sleep Tracking & AI Features
I didn’t have the breathing pad, so I couldn’t test the breathing detection, however the sleep tracking itself is impressively accurate. It picks up every cough, shuffle, or sound my daughter makes, which is both comforting and, occasionally, a reminder that she’s always on the move.
The AI features, such as face covering detection and danger zone alerts, are clever, but I think their usefulness depends on your child’s age. For a newborn or younger baby, these features could be a real game changer for peace of mind. For a toddler, things like face detection aren’t really necessary.
I also love and strongly rely on the temperature and humidity functions. It helps me be able to keep my daughter’s room at a comfortable temperature by adjusting the heater or air con as necessary.
The danger zone function is also a nice addition. I can set up my camera somewhere like the living room and define the kitchen area as a danger zone, for example. Brilliant if you have a curious toddler!
Video & Audio Quality
Here’s where the CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 3 really shines. The 2.5K QHD video clarity is on another level compared to my older model. I also feel it is better than any other monitor I have come across. Day or night, I can see my daughter so clearly. I also love that it measures her height, it is a great little extra.
The audio is equally sensitive, picking up even the quietest sounds. The two-way audio does have a slight delay but it’s still handy for those quick moments when you want to reassure your child without going in.
Everyday Use & Portability
I use the CuboAi every single night and for every nap. The mobile stand makes it super portable, so I can take it travelling without any fuss just pack it, connect to Wi-Fi, and you’re set. I take it with me whenever I travel.
Final Verdict
Would I recommend the CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 3? Absolutely. It’s given me so much peace of mind, and I no longer feel like I have to watch the monitor constantly to know my little one is safe. It is suitable for ages newborn through to whenever you decide a monitor is no longer needed.
For me, the combination of crystal clear video, sensitive audio, and smart features makes it well worth the investment. Especially for parents with younger babies who want reassurance without the constant room checks, this is a must have.
