Don’t Suffer From an Itchy Scaly Scalp Any Longer!

If you, or someone in your family suffers from an itchy scalp due to Psoriasis, Eczema, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, or even severe Dandruff, you’ll know that it can be irritating, painful and/or embarrassing for the sufferer. Trying different products and medicated shampoos in an effort to manage these scalp conditions, can be both costly and frustrating, and many of us are left feeling as though we have tried it all. But have you?

Firstly, let’s take a look at why shampoos don’t always work.

Coco scalp shampoo doesnt work

As you can see from the image, the build up of scale caused by dead skin cells can actually act as a barrier between the medicated shampoo and the skin, that the shampoo is unable to penetrate.
Often what is needed is a medication that can not only break down the scale, but also penetrate and soothe the skin on the scalp for effective relief.

Coco Scalp ointment does work

COCO-SCALP is a unique ointment formulation, (not a shampoo) that is designed to be applied to the affected areas of the scalp and left on for one hour. This allows maximum medicine contact time for COCO-SCALP to break down the scale, and treat the skin below. The special scalp formulation of salicylic acid (to remove scale) and Coconut Oil (to moisturise, soothe and condition the skin and hair) provides the relief that sufferers are searching for.

Suitable for treating scalp conditions ranging from severe dandruff to Psoriasis, Eczema and Seborrheic Dermatitis, COCO-SCALP has been developed by Dermatologists and is steroid free.

It’s not a shampoo. It’s not a steroid. It just treats scale.

Take control of your condition today and ask your Pharmacist for COCO-SCALP by name, and if they don’t stock it ask them to order it in for you.

Suitable for Adults and Children over 12 years. Always read the label & use strictly as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.

Putting COCOSCALP to the Test

With the help of 5 parents from the Mums Lounge online community, we are putting COCO-SCALP to the test. Each reviewer has been sent COCO-SCALP to use over the period of 3 weeks, after which time they’ll share their thoughts and opinions with the rest of us. We will publish the results on 28 July 14.

Meet the Reviewers

Kath

Kath’s husband deals with the constant and often embarrassing issue of severe dandruff all over his scalp. Although Peter’s condition does not cause him much discomfort Kath says “it is not so great cosmetically as he always wears black and looks like he has been out in the snow.’

Jo

Jo suffers from a dry scalp, eczema, and scalp pimples on a daily basis, which causes her to scratch at her itchy scalp frequently.

Jasmine

Jasmine’s severe dandruff and Seborrhoeic Dermatitis pose a daily battle for her. She cannot go 2 days without washing her hair; otherwise her scalp is itchy, red, and sore with visible flakes throughout her hair.

Tallara

Tallara’s partner has spent a considerable amount of money in his search for something to help combat the itchy scalp and dandruff he experiences a day or two after washing his hair.

Julie

Julie will also be trialling COCO-SCALP on her husband who constantly suffers from dandruff all over his scalp, and has yet to find something to clear it up.

It is important here to note that all of our reviewers have tried other products in the past, ranging from organic and natural shampoos, well-known anti-dandruff shampoos and coal tar shampoo without a great deal of success.

Will COCO-SCALP be the product to finally bring them relief from their condition?
Join us on the 28th July for our reviewers update.
