This Stressed out Mum Released a Hilarious Adele Parody – ‘Hello from the Mother Side’
A Texan mum has released a parody perfectly describing some of the more frustrating joys of motherhood in the funniest way possible, re-writing Adele’s Hello with a mummy-slant.
Emily Mills and two members of her ‘Mom Squad’ get brutally honest about mumzone realities like facial hair, the lack of a thigh gap, and stress-eating Cheetos. She’s even nailed the sepia-toned music video, down to her eyeliner, blow-out and fur coat!
Hello from the mother side. I think I might break down and cry,
Because I love my children but I don’t want anymore.
Can somebody pass me
the pinot noir?
Watch the singer/songwriter/mother’s brilliant parody here:
Unlike a lot of other parodies, Emily’s version is sung beautifully and could pass for the original if you weren’t paying attention. Her video has had more than 3 million views since it was released, and it certainly has been striking a chord with fed up mums everywhere!
What do you think? Can you relate to this parody? We certainly can!
