We are Crushing Hard on These Vegan Leather Coats and Jackets!
For those of you who haven’t yet got the memo – vegan leather is about to explode in popularity! There is an ever-growing demand for animal free leather from both consumers and corporations who are concerned about the the environmental impact and animal welfare issues associated with traditional leather made from animal skins. When you think about just how many products, from shoes, clothing, accessories, furniture and even car interiors could make the switch to vegan leather, it’s easy to see why the market is expected to be worth over $90 billion by 2025!
But before you start picturing a world filled with the plastic faux leather of yesteryear, let’s make it quite clear that today’s animal-free leather is made from a variety of materials, including sustainable plant-based options such as cactus, pineapples, wine waste and even apples and mushrooms!
