Wow, I went to visit two very talented ladies, Shannon and Amaëlle that have designed and created a fantastic baby wrap that is unlike any other I have seen before- The Babyboowrap.  It’s super versatile and very “back, neck friendly” as well which I like very much as I suffer from a bad neck and can relate to this. Their fabric is weaved on the weft & warp to achieve a revolutionary 4-way stretch, therefore Babyboowrap applies no pressure to any one area on your baby’s body either. I was pleasantly surprised and felt that a lot of effort had gone into the making of the Babyboowrap. With specially designed material, length and a beautiful jersey cotton/bamboo & lycra® fabric- It’s a beautiful, eco-friendly combination.  Their fabric is super sturdy & extremely soft and in Stone colour suits men and women alike.

I was shown how to wrap the Babyboowrap around yourself several ways, I think after a  few times it would become like tying a shoelace and you wouldn’t even think about it.  For a new mum you my like to have your partner help you as I know how daunting  it can be holding onto a newborn for the first time(there’s a video if you would like it).  I was amazed at how you could be breastfeeding a baby in there and you could not see the baby doing this at all, it’s very private.  You can also multi-task while wearing the Babyboowrap with things such as writing, vacuuming etc.

Babyboowrap supports the baby all over the body so they feel very close to their parent or carer .  Their updated style of baby wearing has been inspired by the time-honoured traditional way of carrying babies.  Throughout the centuries, we carried our babies primarily out of pure convenience and protection. Babyboowrap has been enhanced with modern technology so that it is not only worn out of necessity, but also pleasure, comfort and security.

The Babyboowrap also carries twins which is fabulous for those mums and dads! I was impressed about that I must say as you can’t do that with many baby carriers.  What I thought was so lovely about Babyboowrap was the passion that both Shannon and Amaëlle share for their fantastic product.  It really is a great baby wrap with many many positives which I can’t speak more highly about. 

When you think that it also helps babies who are not thriving – A baby who is struggling can be healthier when carried in their wrap and I have had friends with premmies, I think we may all know what that’s like to some degree.
