A School Serves This Disgusting Lunch to it’s Students and The Internet is Stunned by What it is

Tuckshop food in Australia has been under scrutiny for the last few years, for being unhealthy or offering poor nutritional value to the kids that eat it. But that good old sausage roll looks mighty fine compared to this picture of one of the menu items served at a school in Pennsylvania.

On November 14, a student from DuBois Area School District decided to upload a picture of the lunch served from the school cafeteria.

At first glance it looks like slop. Brown slop.

However, it’s actually a cheeseburger. A burnt cheeseburger.

What’s even worse, is the burger in the picture is not deconstructed. The brown slop looks like a meat pattie with craters. Whatever the heck it is, it doesn’t look appetizing. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.

Dr. Luke Lansberry, one of the school’s representatives and the school superintendent clarified the burger was no longer served from the cafeteria and the reason for the burger to look unappetizing was due to the burger being cooked too high, rather than being cooked at the normal 155 degrees.

The burger was still safe to eat and had been served to at least 300 students before it was removed.

Parents were appalled that the burger had been served in the first place.

Whoever allowed for the burgers to be served in that sort of state, obviously didn’t care about the students.

It sure puts a spin on the term ‘Turd Burger’.
