Win 1 of 10 Copies of ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine,’ by Gail Honeyman and a Limited Edition Bag

Win 1 of 10 Copies of ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine,’ by Gail Honeyman and a Limited Edition Bag

If you are on the hunt for your next un-put-down-able book, we have just the thing! Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon picked Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine for her book club calling it: “Beautifully written and INCREDIBLY funny, Eleanor Oliphant…is about the importance of friendship and human connection. I fell in LOVE with Eleanor, and eccentric and regimented loner whose life beautifully unfolds after a chance encounter with a stranger; I think you will fall in love too.’

In fact, so sure is Witherspoon that you’ll love it, she snapped up the rights to make the book into a movie within days of its publication! This is definitely one of those books that you have to read before you watch the movie!

Eleanor Oliphant leads a simple life. She wears the same clothes to work every day, eats the same meal deal for lunch every day and buys the same two bottles of vodka to drink every weekend.

Eleanor Oliphant is fine. Nothing is missing from her carefully timetabled life. Except sometimes, everything.

One simple act of kindness is about to shatter the walls Eleanor has built around herself. Now she must learn how to navigate the world that everyone else seems to take for granted while searching for the courage to face the dark corners she’s avoided all her life.

Change can be good. Change can be bad. But surely any change is better than fine?
Smart, warm, uplifting, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine is the story of an out-of-the-ordinary heroine whose deadpan weirdness and unconscious wit make for an irresistible journey.

  13. Wow! Drawn in by the blurb. If it reads as good as it sounds I won’t want to put the book down. A good deed, a good twist, a totally relatable personality. A change to the norm, which throws everybody into confusion. Dark secrets, wit, weirdness and heroism. Guaranteed to be a good read. “Funny, touching unpredictable” quoted by JoJo, with movie rights snapped up straight away, sounds like Gail Honeyman has a winner, one which I can’t wait to read and see on the big screen.
