Neil Patrick Harris is Unrecognisable as the Menacing Count Olaf

Neil Patrick Harris looked unrecognizable as the terrifying Count Olaf in new photos from the set of A Series of Unfortunate Events.

The Netflix TV adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s beloved book series, is currently being filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Harris is playing the menacing villain and the actor was spotted deep in disguise with grey hair, receding hairline, scruffy goatee and a prosthetic nose. The actor looks exactly how we imagined the disgusting Olaf to look.

The story follows the orphaned Baudelaire siblings, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, who are sent to live with their distant cousin, Count Olaf, who is only after their inheritance. He eventually loses custody of the children but continues to  follow them to their new homes, always wearing different disguises while attempting to steal their fortune.

The new Netflix series is scheduled for release later this year.
