Mum is Trolled Online for Her Quick Three Ingredient Dinner

Mum is Trolled Online for Her Quick Three Ingredient Dinner

When this mum shared a quick three ingredient dinner online, she wasn’t prepared for the amount of hateful comments she received.

Being a mum means you barely have any spare time, so when you find a quick recipe your kids love you want to share it with the world. Mum of three Emma Lou did just that when she posted her simple, three-ingredient meal of spaghetti carbonara on social media. It basically consisted of pasta, chicken and a jar of carbonara sauce. The British mum first boiled the spaghetti, along with some penne which she then threw into a pan. ”Because I’m so lazy and cannot cook, I got this jar from Tesco,” she said. ”I slopped it all in there and mixed it around, added the chicken. And no, before you say it – I’m not Italian, but they can’t complain cause they all ate it.”

Seems harmless enough, right? Wrong! Commenters felt the need to jump online and tell her just how disgusting the pasta meal was.

After viewing the TikTok, one person said: “I don’t blame your kids for not appreciating it, I don’t either.”

”The two different types of pasta would be a textural nightmare,” another added. “How hard is it to make a carbonara!”

”I don’t get Carbonara sauce when all you need to do is add eggs, Parmesan and a bit of pasta water,” someone wrote.

”Mine wouldn’t even eat it,” another parent noted.

“Can’t believe how lazy you are!”

And one Italian commented with: “You might not be Italian but I am. That’s an insult to me, my country and worst of all food!”

Ouch!

Luckily some viewers were on the mum’s side and said they would love to sample her pasta. In fact many stated that they also used this same pasta sauce in a jar and loved it!

”Contrary to the comments i actually quite like the carbonara sauce in a pot, it’s less bother!” someone offered.

”Babes it looks great and not everyone can afford fresh ingredients. Cheese alone is expensive,” another added.

Indeed! Each to their own.
