I made one for my 4-year-old niece featuring her family members from here in Australia and the UK, and some other special events and occasions.

To say she was delighted is an understatement. She absolutely loves drawing, painting and colouring, so a gift that combines her interests with special memories and cartoon representations of loved ones was a huge hit! She couldn’t wait to pick one out and get colouring!

Personally, I was really impressed with how quickly it arrived. I ordered it on a Tuesday morning, and it arrived the next afternoon! I can’t guarantee that you’ll get your order the next day, as I assume it depends on your location, but it was clearly sent straight to print as soon as I confirmed I was happy with my images, and posted soon after.

The other thing that I noticed straight away was the quality and thickness of the paper. It’s perfect for pencils, textas or paint and the colour doesn’t bleed through to the other side.

In terms of value, I think $25.59 plus postage is reasonable for something so personalised. For a custom-made product that turns your own photos into something tangible and creative, it feels like great value.

The only thing I would recommend is taking a little extra care when selecting and reviewing your images before sending them to print. While most converted beautifully, there were a couple that didn’t translate perfectly—at one point, the AI even turned a male family member into a woman! Some images can be trickier for AI to process, so you may need to swap a few out or reach out to customer service for help refining them.

Overall, this is such a beautiful way to turn everyday family photos into something creative and lasting. It’s thoughtful, personal, and a lovely alternative to another toy.

I’d especially recommend it for birthdays or any child who loves to draw and get creative. It’s a simple idea, but one that turns everyday moments into something special.
